SMS program
Texts from Cut the Shift LLC
SMS is parked in this beta. Cut the Shift LLC does not send product texts or accept SMS consent changes while parked. Profile opt-in, House SMS, and Twilio configuration are unavailable. Inbound texts do not change consent or trigger replies. In-app notify still works. For help or consent questions, use the contact form.

Archived opt-in flow (not available)
The flow and consent language below are retained for reference only, not current enrollment instructions.
- A restaurant invites a worker. The worker creates or signs in to an account.
- The worker opens Profile and enters a mobile number in E.164 form (example +15135551234).
- They check an unchecked box with the language below. Checking the box is optional. Using the app does not imply SMS consent.
- They tap Save. We store consent as
smsOptInAt. - The restaurant must also turn House SMS on and connect Twilio. No text goes out without both house enablement and the worker's own opt-in.
I agree to receive SMS text messages from Cut the Shift LLC about my restaurant schedule (week published / coverage needs). Message frequency varies. Msg & Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Requires a mobile number in international form (E.164). House SMS must also be on. This consent is separate from the Terms and Privacy Policy.

Archived message types (not sending)
- Week published / schedule updated
- Coverage need (open shift or call-out) so opted-in staff can claim
Frequency varies with the restaurant's week (typically a few texts per week, more if the house posts coverage). Not for advertising, not for 2FA, not for inbound first-YES shift swap.
